Delete your CynchUp account
You can delete your account yourself, from the web app or the Android app — no email required.
- Android app: open Account from the menu, scroll to Delete my account, enter your password, type DELETE and confirm.
- Web: sign in at cynchup.com/login, go to Account and use the same Delete my account panel.
If you can't sign in, email privacy@cynchup.com from the address on the account and we'll delete it for you within 30 days.
What is deleted immediately
Your name, company, phone, address, website and profile text; your password; your saved-search alerts and notifications; your AI assistant conversations; your registered push devices; your newsletter subscription; your authorized listing-ingest email senders; your block list; the reports you filed; and every active session. Your listings and wanted posts are taken down, open auctions you were running are cancelled, and pending offers you had made are withdrawn.
What is retained, and for how long
Invoices, payments and purchase-order records tied to completed deals are retained for legal and accounting obligations — typically 7 years — because a counterparty and the tax authorities have a claim on them too. Messages you sent to another member stay in that member's inbox. Security and audit logs are retained for abuse prevention. All of these are detached from your personal details: the account row is anonymised and can no longer be signed into, claimed or contacted.
